Hinckley Point C

Two new nuclear reactors were commissioned by are being constructed at Hinkley Point C, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low-carbon electricity for around six million homes.

Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of the nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UK’s move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year over its 60-year lifespan.

H&V Fusion and Drilling we contracted to supply and install the infrastructure for the fire and water services for the accommodation. In total 21km of pipe has been installed from 90mm to 180mm for support site for the supply of water and fire main services for the buildings providing accommodation for the expected 10,000 contractors working on site
